Review Breakfast at The Departure Lounge, Norwich.
Based on the bottom of Prince of Wales road opposite Kwick-Fit The Departure Lounge is the perfect place to get a quick bite to eat. The glass exterior provides a light and airy atmosphere to the coffee shop vibe.
This friendly family run business, serves tea, coffee, sandwiches, full English breakfast, and cakes. After our first visit, we took to Instagram, where Zena from Love Norwich Food mentioned their coffee, so we returned to check out the coffee.
Once again, we ordered a latte and a full English breakfast which came to £7.40 and took a seat, in one of the soft brown padded chairs and white tables which are complete with small ornamental artificial plants. The latte and breakfast were delivered promptly, the service is fantastic here. The breakfast was beautifully presented, and the sliced and grilled tomatoes were a particularly nice touch to the plate, accompanied by 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 eggs and a white ceramic pot of baked beans. The food was cooked to perfection, full of flavour the breakfast was also accompanied by 2 slices of toast thick what we like to call proper bread (homemade/bakery bread) presented separately on a breadboard. The quality of ingredients was outstanding.
This was one of the best breakfasts I have had in Norwich.
